Evelyn and the others had no idea about Chloe's thoughts.

She couldn't help but ask, "How much did it cost?"

"Not much, not much," Elian waved dismissively, holding up five fingers.

Joanna ventured, "Five hundred million?"

Elian nodded.

His attendant, Finn, chimed in, "US dollars."

Joanna gasped.

She nearly tripped over her own feet.

Five hundred million US dollars wasn't much?

Just how wealthy was his family?

Someone who paid tens of billions in taxes in Aldoria…

This amount probably really was nothing to him…

Joanna sighed and walked over to Natalie.

"Comparing yourself to others is truly disheartening."

Natalie was sucking on a lollipop. "What's wrong?"

Joanna said, "Five hundred million US dollars for a suburban vacation villa resort…"

Natalie's eyes widened. "That cheap? What a bargain!"

Joanna stared at her in disbelief. "You're broke! Stop pretending!"

She huffed and walked ahead.

Natalie mumbled, "…I don't know exactly how much money I have, but I'm not broke."

The person in charge of the entire medical system couldn't possibly be broke!

She just had no clear idea of her own wealth!

Natalie took another lick of her lollipop and followed the others.

Elian was already leading the way, introducing the villa to Mr. Valentine, Evelyn, and Alexander.

"From there to here, there are twenty villas, all within the compound. I found it too noisy, so I bought them all. Currently, only I live here, so it feels a bit empty. But if I settle in the country long-term, those places will probably fill up with people."

Finn nodded behind him.

Joanna looked around. Natalie had already slipped into the kitchen to see what was for later. Chloe had climbed down from Evelyn's arms and was exploring.

Alexander stayed close to Chloe, making sure she didn't fall.

While everyone was looking around, the sound of a car came from outside.

Elian said, "That should be King Montgomery arriving."

Hearing this, Chloe immediately looked toward the entrance.

Elian went out to greet him.

Evelyn and the others were guests, so they remained in the living room. Joanna sidled up to her.

"When Montgomery comes in later, be enthusiastic and step forward. Last time we met, he couldn't even spare me a glance. But he looked at you a few times… At least leave a good impression."

Evelyn twitched her lips.

She was actually terrible at socializing and had no idea how to interact with people…

As she was thinking, Elian entered with Montgomery.

Joanna immediately stepped up beside her. "King Montgomery, how have you been these past few days?"

Montgomery sighed. "I came seeking medical help. I've been searching everywhere lately…"

Joanna nudged Evelyn, urging her to handle the social interaction.

Evelyn twitched her lips again, unsure what to say. Just then, a small figure darted over and hugged Montgomery's leg.

Evelyn looked over and saw Chloe looking up at Montgomery, her little face full of excitement.

"Daddy!!"
