Chapter 744

Sebastian Truman was genuinely getting annoyed.

The Truman family had always adhered to the principle of keeping a low profile.

Even when holding high positions, they never abused their power or bullied others.

That's why, even when Evelyn Ross blocked his way at his own doorstep, Sebastian didn't call for security or anyone else.

Sebastian had been raised with an education emphasizing gentleness and approachability.

His entire demeanor carried an air of refined elegance.

But at this moment, he couldn't help but furrow his brows tightly at Evelyn.

Gentleness didn't mean he had no temper.

There had been people in the past who thought the Truman family was easy to push around and came to provoke them.

The Trumans would greet them with smiles on the surface, only to turn around and bankrupt them.

In the end, those people would come crying and begging for mercy.

After the Trumans gave them a way out, even if they fell from high society to second-tier status, they remained grateful to the Truman family.

A glint of killing intent had already appeared in Sebastian's eyes.

It was very cold.

Yet the woman before him remained perfectly composed.

She seemed oblivious to his anger, still looking down and playing with her phone.

Evelyn was checking the time.

There were five minutes left until ten o'clock.

If the Sterling Family's prophecy was accurate, Sebastian would be in a car accident in five minutes.

But Sebastian was just standing here at the main entrance. How could a car accident possibly happen?

Evelyn narrowed her eyes.

If no accident occurred, it would mean the Sterling Family's prophecy was wrong.

Natalie Castillo had said that the Sterling Family's prophecies were unavoidable, no matter how one tried to evade them.

One had to face and accept the disaster directly.

The Sterling Family released prophecies because if the person knew in advance, they could make corresponding preparations.

For example, Sebastian might be able to dodge quickly when the accident happened, saving his life in time.

That's why the Sterling Family's prophecies were considered so rare and valuable.

Evelyn stared at Sebastian.

She checked her phone again.

Four minutes left.

The prophesied car accident was about to happen.

Even Evelyn couldn't help feeling a bit tense.

Sebastian also looked down at his watch.

He sneered.

"Miss Ross, four more minutes."

"I'm right at my own doorstep. The car accident you mentioned is simply impossible."

Evelyn nodded.

"Yes, four more minutes."

"Then, Mr. Truman, please continue to cooperate."

"I promise to let you leave at one minute past ten."

Sebastian scoffed.

He clearly didn't believe her.

Evelyn sighed softly.

Just then, a voice came over.

"Aunt Evelyn, I know you're usually spoiled by Uncle Alexander."

"But how could you do something like this?"

Everyone turned to look.

Cecilia Evans walked over.

She was still maintaining her "green tea" persona.

She appeared dignified, but the hostility flashing in her eyes was obvious to anyone who wasn't blind.

Evelyn lowered her gaze.

She couldn't be bothered with her.

Cecilia walked closer.

"Brother Sebastian, I'm sorry."

"Let me apologize on behalf of my aunt."

"Uncle Alexander and the Sterling Family usually spoil her too much, making her think she can do whatever she wants..."

Sebastian frowned.

Before he could speak, a sarcastic voice chimed in.

"Tsk tsk, Tea Tea, did you forget to brush your teeth this morning?"

This made Cecilia freeze for a moment.

None of them knew who Natalie Castillo was insulting.

But Evelyn curved her lips slightly.

Natalie looked at Cecilia.

"Tea Tea, I'm talking to you."

Cecilia frowned.

"What did you call me?"

"Little Green Tea? Tea Tea for short. Sounds nice, right?"

"I think this name suits you perfectly."

"Wherever you go, you bring that green tea scent. Quite refreshing."

Natalie said with a smile.

Cecilia clenched her jaw.

Knowing she couldn't win an argument with Natalie, she turned to Evelyn.

"Aunt Evelyn, it's one thing for you to come alone."

"But bringing this person here to pick a fight?"

"Do you really have no respect for our Truman family?"

Evelyn looked at Sebastian.

She explained seriously.

"Our insults are only directed at Cecilia Evans. They are not aimed at the Truman family."

Sebastian was stunned.

Wait, why are you explaining so seriously?

It left him a bit confused.

For a moment, he didn't even know how to respond.

It was as if someone had come up to him, slapped him first, and then offered a sincere apology.

He twitched the corner of his mouth.

He couldn't help but speak up.

"Miss Ross, Cecilia Evans is, after all, considered part of the Truman family now."

"So, could you please... watch your words?"

He felt odd even saying this.

Evelyn then looked at Natalie.

"Did you hear that? Be careful with your words."

Natalie giggled.

"Got it."

"Then I won't call you Tea Tea anymore, okay?"

"Sigh, some people, when they can't win an argument, why do they go tattling to the adults?"

"How old are you? Are you weaned yet?"

"Could you still be wearing diapers?"

With that, Natalie even glanced down at Cecilia's lower half.

Cecilia was furious.

She clenched her fists.

She shouted angrily.

"Miss Castillo, please watch your mouth."

"Even if my mouth is dirty, could it be as foul as yours?"

Natalie pouted.

"Next time you go out, remember to brush your teeth."
