Chapter 478

Justin Evans stared at the report.

His pupils contracted sharply.

His fingers trembled slightly.

"Impossible…"

Mrs. Evans snatched the report.

The moment she saw the result, she staggered backward.

Her gaze snapped toward the operating room.

She threw herself at the door, pounding on it frantically.

"Belle! It's my Belle!"

"Save her! You must save her!"

The Evans family butler urgently summoned specialists.

Doctors and nurses rushed into the operating room.

The hospital director hurried over.

"Mrs. Evans?"

Mrs. Evans grabbed the director's arm.

"That's my daughter!"

"My daughter I've been searching for seventeen years!"

"Save her at any cost!"

The director nodded gravely.

"I'll go in and check."

The atmosphere inside the operating room was tense.

The lead surgeon's forehead beaded with sweat.

"We can't locate the internal bleeding points."

"The technique required is too advanced."

"None of us can do it."

A nurse suddenly cried out.

"Blood pressure dropping!"

"Heart rate slowing!"

The lead surgeon's hands shook more violently.

"The blood transfused just flows right out."

"Four transfusion ports can't keep up."

The director strode out of the operating room.

Mrs. Evans and Justin immediately surrounded him.

"How is my daughter?"

The director shook his head heavily.

"She's losing blood too fast."

"We can't find the bleeding points."

Mrs. Evans screamed hoarsely.

"Use blood! However much is needed!"

Justin thrust out his arm.

"Take mine! I'm type B!"

The director stopped him.

"Siblings can't donate blood."

"It causes hemolytic disease."

Mrs. Evans grabbed the director.

"What can we do then?"

The director took a deep breath.

"We can only attempt blind sutures."

"The risk is very high."

Justin slapped himself hard.

"It's all my fault!"

"I forced my sister to jump!"

He slid down the wall.

His eyes rimmed red.

Mrs. Evans clutched the director's arm.

"You must save her!"

The director sighed helplessly.

"Unless Nora is here."

"Otherwise…"

Mrs. Evans' eyes filled with despair.

"Nora is abroad…"

The director shook his head.

"There's no time."

"Miss Evans can't wait."
