Chapter 1752

chapter1752

Natalie took a brief pause, steadying herself as her thoughts began to clear. "Why didn't you mention this to me? Pandora even sent me photos of you with another woman. You looked like you liked her. In those pictures, you seemed so intimate, as if you would want to bed her."

She was upset. The way Austin had looked at the other woman-it should have been her, and no one else. The thought of him with someone else was unbearable.

Austin laughed, the sound light and amused. "Jealous? I know the photos you're talking about. Someone sent them to me too. Didn't you notice the pictures were edited? The person sitting in front of me was you.

"Last year, when we went out for dinner with friends, they took those pictures. You even posted them on your Instagram. Oh, my silly goose. Could it be that after seeing those photos, you got so mad that you rushed back to Fachington?"

He knew exactly what was going through her mind.

Natalie froze as her mind caught up. "I... I remember now."

"Take a couple of days to rest, then book your flight back. The kids and I will be waiting for you. I've already made arrangements for their schooling, but I'll need to check on a few things in person. I've talked to Hank and the others to set it all up," Austin continued. He had everything planned out.

Unfortunately, he couldn't reunite with Natalie immediately after returning home.

Natalie couldn't help but laugh despite her earlier frustration. "I'll book a flight ticket right now. I'll just sleep on the plane if I have to."

She couldn't wait to be with him. She couldn't believe she had doubted him.

No wonder Hank had invited her to dinner a few days ago, praising Austin and hinting they'd be seeing each other often in the future. Now, it all made sense. Even Austin's parents' earlier behavior fell into place.

This surprise had left her both shocked and delighted.

An hour later, Natalie was back at the airport. After clearing security, she shared the news with Skylar as she waited to board.

"You won't believe what just

happened. When I got home and opened the door, I was stunned. I was drenched in cold sweat. I

honestly thought Austin would

let me see the kids again. Who would have thought he would leave everything behind and return to

Jipsburg?

"I can't believe it. He loves me so much. They say there's a seven-year itch, but I

no longer believe in that. Austin is the best man in the world," Natalie said, her voice trembling with emotion as tears streamed down her face.

The people around her glanced her way, but Natalie didn't care. Her emotions were still a whirlwind, far from settled.

d. "I've been worried

about you these past few years. I never thought Mr. Powell was the type to be irresponsible. He loves

you somuch; there's no way betray or ignore you. Thank goodness it was all just a

misunderstanding."

"It's my fault," Natalie admitted. "I've been so distrustful of Austin, and that's why this misunderstanding happened. I regret the argument We had before. But in the end, he didn't even hold it against me. How did I get so lucky to have such a wonderful husband?"

The more she thought about it, the more unworthy she felt of him.

Skylar laughed softly. "You should come back soon. After all that time on airplanes, I'm sure you haven't gotten any rest. Try to sleep on the flight." "Yeah, I will. But honestly, I'm too happy and excited to sleep right now."

When she first arrived, she was furious. Now, she was overwhelmed with joy. Her emotions had been on a roller coaster, rising and falling with every twist.

"Alright, I won't keep you any longer. When I get back, we'll have plenty of time to catch up. But I won't come to see you right away-I'll spend some time with Austin and the kids first," she said, her voice brimming with anticipation.

Skylar laughed again. "Alright, take care!"

An hour ago, Clement called Thelma to ask her to come to Harvey's studio. He mentioned that he had a few scripts for her to review.

The mention of scripts had truly caught her off guard.
