Chapter 1929
chapter1929
After a few more minutes, Howard suddenly realized something. "Harvey, do you think we'll be seeing Mr. and Mrs. Martin soon? Could Vivian bring them back?"
Harvey's gaze deepened, unreadable and mysterious. "She should be able to. I have a feeling they'll be back soon. I'll be staying here for the time being."
"Should we inform Paul and the others about this?" Howard grew more excited the more he thought about it. He was part of something incredible!
He had personally witnessed someone traveling through time. This was something straight out of a novel!
Harvey remained cautious. "Let's not tell anyone just yet. Vivian's time travel doesn't take long. To us, it might just be a night or a couple of days. There's no need to alarm others."
"You're right. Once Mr. and Mrs. Martin return, things will get busy again. I've prepared plenty of medicine for Vivian this time-it should make her journey more comfortable." Howard agreed after some thought.
Harvey checked the time. "Go home and rest. I'll stay here."
"Alright. Call me if anything happens. I'll head back now. Take care of yourself, too." Howard didn't hesitate he had a lot of work to do and several patients waiting for him.
"Okay."
After seeing Howard off, Harvey drank a glass of water and sat down.
Before leaving, Vivian had entrusted her phone to him. If anyone contacted her over the next couple of days, he could answer calls or reply to messages on her behalf.
"Vivian, I believe you'll find something important this time," Harvey murmured as he looked at a photo of a family of three on her phone.
Just as he was about to set the phone down and get some rest, it suddenly rang. Seeing Hadwin's name on the screen, he raised an eyebrow.
Austin's eldest son-he had met him a few times before. He's a rich playboy who lived life indulgently.
Although his work capabilities were impressive, his personal life was wild and carefree.
That day when Vivian was hospitalized with a high fever, others might not have noticed, but Harvey did this guy liked Vivian.
His expression darkened as he answered the call with a cold face.
"Vivian, are you feeling better? If you're okay now, let's go out for a meal." Hadwin's voice came from the phone.
Harvey's tone was unfriendly. "Vivian is busy these days."
"Who... are you?" Hadwin was caught off guard hearing a man's voice.

"Oh, so you're her uncle. Alright then. Could you let her know when she's free to give me a call? We had-
planned to meet up for a meal," Hadwin said with a hint of disappointment in his voice.
Harvey responded with a curt hum. His tone was cold and indifferent.
Hadwin noticed it but wasn't too bothered-Harvey had always been a distant, hard-to-approach person.
It wasn't easy to get close to him. So he didn't take it personally.
After passing through a bright flash of light, Vivian opened her eyes again.
The scenery around her had completely changed. She had arrived in an entirely different world.
She stood frozen, staring at the vast expanse of yellow sand, dust swirling in the air. Where was this?
