Chapter 1845

chapter1845

At the entrance of Galaxy Villa, Paul, Howard, and his wife, Tilda Blanton, arrived one after the other, not more than two minutes apart.

At this moment, they stood before the dimly lit Galaxy Villa and exchanged glances.

"I just called Vivian, but she isn't answering. I don't know what's going on right now. Even Edgar is on his way here, but he said he hasn't heard anything about her returning home today," Howard said, his tone filled with concern.

Paul's expression changed when he heard this. "I'll try calling again."

If anything happened to Vivian, he would make sure the person who did this paid for it. He quickly dialed her number again, but the call went unanswered.

There was still no response.

"We should go in and check," Howard said immediately.

Paul agreed. The three of them entered the villa, and Paul, having clearance to enter, led the way.

Once inside, the villa was eerily quiet, with no sounds at all. It was as if no one was there.

"Vivian?" They each called out a few times, but there was no response.

"I'll go upstairs and check. You two stay here," Tilda said.

She had visited Galaxy Villa before and met Vivian several times. She liked Vivian a lot.

"Okay, you go ahead." Howard nodded in agreement.

Tilda headed upstairs, and Paul and Howard waited anxiously at the bottom of the stairs.

Tilda arrived at Vivian's door and gently knocked a few times. "Vivian?"

She called softly, then tried again, but there was no response. She frowned slightly. "Vivian?"

Just as she was about to push open the door, it suddenly swung open. Vivian, yawning and looking surprised, stood in the doorway. "Mrs. Grey?"

"Are you okay, Vivian? You really scared us!" Tilda exclaimed, letting out a deep breath and finally calming down.

Vivian smiled, but inside she felt a bit awkward. She had been in such a rush after calling Howard earlier that she hadn't thought much about it.

She hadn't expected them to come looking for her. Thankfully, she had made it back in time. If they hadn't found her, they probably would have been worried sick about her safety and might have even searched all over Jipsburg for her.

"I'm fine. It's my friend who had the issue. I just had someone deliver the medicine

for her. Nothing to worry about," Vivian explained in a casual tone.

Hearing voices upstairs, Paul relaxed but immediately asked, "Vivian, is it okay if we come up?"

"Mr. Ziegler, let me change into something and come down. Wait for me a moment," Vivian replied, feeling a little helpless.

She knew they were all worried about her, so she quickly returned to her room

and put on a jacket. As she did this, she left the door ajar, and the lights were on.

The bright light illuminated the entire room, giving them a clear view of everything inside. As she dressed, Vivian turned to Tilda and said, "Mrs. Grey, I should have explaine@things better to avoid worrying you."

Tilda breathed a sigh of relief after taking in the situation around her. "Thank goodness you're alright. If

those two downstairs would probably be causing a huge commotion tonight."
