Chapter 1774

chapter1774

As for how Warwick had gotten the keycard, he had his methods. However, being escorted out in such a humiliating manner left him fuming. He raised his head to look at the towering building.

Thelma lived on the 23rd floor. Even if he craned his neck, he couldn't catch a glimpse of her.

Her cold, indifferent demeanor earlier only fueled his anger. He wanted nothing more than to drag her back and confront her immediately. The thought of Thelma and Charles possibly being intimate made his irritation burn hotter.

"What gives Charles the right?" he muttered angrily, clenching his fits.

Before his anger could spiral further, his phone buzzed insistently in his pocket. The interruption forced him to rein in his emotions. Taking a deep breath, he pulled out his phone and answered as he strode toward his car.

"Sienna? Why are you calling me?" Warwick's tone was curt. He didn't like Sienna.

Fans were blind to her true nature, but insiders knew exactly what kind of person she was. Sienna cultivated an image of refinement and aloofness, but behind the scenes, she clawed her way to the top using every underhanded tactic imaginable.

No one could guess how many people she had manipulated—or slept with-to secure her position.

To make matters worse, Thelma had once been Sienna's assistant, enduring harassment for being too pretty.

Later, they worked on a few projects together, but Warwick was unimpressed by Sienna's acting. She lacked the ability to carry a scene or connect with her co- stars, dragging down his performances and making him the target of criticism for his supposedly mediocre acting.

These memories only deepened his dislike for her.

Given their lack of personal interaction, Warwick was genuinely surprised by her sudden call.

Unbothered by his sharp tone, Sienna spoke with desperation. "Warwick, I need your help. You have connections-you can find someone to help me get through this crisis."

"Crisis? What kind of trouble are you in?" Warwick's scepticism was clear as he sank into the driver's seat. As far as he knew, there hadn't been any major scandals about Sienna lately.

The only thing remotely damaging to her image was her disastrous appearance on a variety show with Thelma. Sienna had been compared to Thelma throughout the show and had come out looking terrible.

Her overly plasticized features had drawn public scrutiny, and even with heavy makeup, her face appeared stiff and unnatural. The media had been relentless in using this to attack her.

"Have you seen the trending topic about Thelma?" Sienna gritted her teeth.

Warwick frowned. "Pretty sure everyone in Jipsburg has seen it by now. What's your point? I don't have time for nonsense, so you'd better get to it quickly."

Sienna hastily continued, "The pictures of Thelma were fake. I made them up and leaked them. I couldn't stand watching her climb the ladder using Charles' name know you've been after her for years. You wouldn't want to see her getting all this attention-or ending up with him, would you?"

"You're telling me those pictures were fake? You were behind this?" Warwick's voice dropped ominously.

"Yes, I made them up. Who knows how many people Thelma's been cozying up to behind closed doors? don't have proof about anyone else, but clearly, she's got some tricks up her sleeve. Somehow, she's O managed to worm her way into Charles' favor, and now he's protecting her.

"I've been in the entertainment industry for years, working tail off with no shortcuts, so of course, I can't stand watching someone like her climb the ladder this way. Honestly, she belongs with you. You've been chasing her for years. You'll not just hand her over to someone else, right?"

Sienna's every word was laced with hatred for Thelma.

After realizing the situation had spiraled out of control, she scrambled for a way out. Her agent urged her to issue an apology and seek forgiveness from Charles and Thelma to avoid police involvement.

But apologizing and issuing a statement would effectively end her career, and she wasn't about to let that happen.

Warwick sneered. "So, what exactly do you want me to do?"

Sienna thought Warwick could help her, so she quickly said, "I need you to find someone to clean this up for me. Ideally, we get Charles and Thelma to admit the pictures were real. If the police stay out of it, all the better.

"Once Thelma's reputation is in tatters, she'll have no choice but to turn to you. Then, you can do whatever you want with her. You help me, and it's a win-win for both of us."
