Chapter 1905

chapter1905

Vivian smiled knowingly. "I see. If you want to learn how to deal with negative items, Mr. Marshman, feel free to ask me. I can help you. I'll share whatever I know."

Skylar had once told her that if more people knew how to handle negative items, fewer people would fall victim to them. So, whenever someone showed awareness of such things, she would always share everything she knew without hesitation.

Alger's eyes widened in shock. "You can handle negative items?"

Vivian nodded lightly, her smile soft. "Yes."

Still stunned, he paused before speaking again. "Then... I'll come by tomorrow."

He regretted not having brought any negative items with him. If he had, he could have shown her right away.

He was good at reading people, and he knew the young woman before him wasn't bluffing. Someone like her wouldn't have crossed into their world without purpose.

...

After leaving the Atkinson residence, Glen and Alger swiftly boarded the carriage. Despite their age, they still moved with agility, getting onto the carriage with practiced ease.

Once inside, they exchanged looks. Glen spoke first. "Do you think this young woman is trustworthy? I can't see her, and I have no idea what she looks like, so I can't tell if she's deceiving us. Manfred seems to trust her completely."

"She's stunning-truly a rare beauty. As for Manfred, his trust in her seems absolute. He would probably give her his heart without hesitation," Alger replied candidly.

Glen frowned. "Manfred doesn't seem the type to care so much about matters of the heart. You're exaggerating."

Pel

Alger scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Exaggerating? Have you ever seen him pay attention to any woman? Over the past couple of years, you've introduced him to many younge women. Even the Atkinson family has brought in many beautiful maids, yet he hasn't spared them a second glance. In his eyes, those women are just like men."

Glen paused, then realized the situation with Vivian. He quickly said, "That young woman isn't from our world, and who knows when she might leave? She's been absent for over a year, and she could disappear at any time. What will happen to Manfred? He'll be left heartbroken. I can't let him get so attached to her."

Alger stroked his long beard thoughtfully, exuding the calm demeanor of a sage.

"Don't forget, Manfred is destined to remain alone, a fate that hasn't found someone capable of suppressing it. This young woman might just be the exception."

Glen blinked. "You think she might be the exception?"

"Perhaps, though it's still uncertain," Alger said, though his tone lacked conviction. He was still processing the shock. Finding someone who understood negative items was a remarkable occurrence, and even rarer for that person to be from another world.

Glen gritted his teeth, silent for a moment.

After a while, he spoke again. "The more I think about it, the less I believe this young woman is right for him. She's not from this world, and she's invisible to others. Who's to say she won't vanish one day and never return? What will Manfred do then? The thought of him suffering from unrequited love... I can't let that happen. I can't approve of this."

Alger rolled his eyes in frustration. "What's the point of not approving? You can't

stop it."

"You!"

...

At Galaxy Villa, Harvey had been waiting outside for over ten minutes. When

Vivian still hadn't responded, concern gnawed at him. Without another thought, he stepped inside, fearing something might've happened to her.
